Sedona, AZ: Bell Rock
2018 By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Bell Rock is a popular landmark and a major tourist attraction near Sedona, Arizona. Bell Rock is
named as such because, from the right angle, the sedimentary rock butte looks just like a bell. Local
legend has it that the rock contains spiritual energy, so Bell Rock tends to attract not only tourists, but
meditators, Yogis, and other spiritual folk. Seeking to capture the majesty and the powerful visage of
the landmark, Anderson Design Group handcrafted a vintage travel poster of the rock. This is a
detailed, hand-drawn and illustrated retro poster of two travelers hiking to the rock. This vintage
artwork is available as a framed print, canvas banner, canvas, metal sign, framed postcard, or as a set of
notecards or postcards. To learn more about the rock formation and other Sedona landmarks, check out
