About the Art
After seeing the grand majesty of the trees in Sequoia National Park, it’s difficult to describe them in
words, verbal or written. So our illustrators at Anderson Design Group set to work, creating handmade
illustrations of the park’s mighty ponderosa pines and towering sequoia trees. Illustrated here is
General Sherman, an old sequoia tree, the largest known living tree in the world. We used a turn-of-
the-century art style to honor the monumental tree, a style reminiscent of the WPA-commissioned
artwork of that time. Order this classic national park poster as a framed print, canvas banner, metal
sign, or set of notecards or postcards. To learn more about this historic national park and the
importance of protecting the ancient giants that live there, visit the Sequoia Parks Conservancy.
Enjoy our art outdoors by ordering your favorite designs on metal signs. Our all-weather, rust-resistant signs are ideal for any porch, barn, fence, warehouse, garage, or bar. Featuring gorgeous color printing, they offer a more casual look than canvases or framed prints.
