Sequoia National Park: Nature's Cathedral-KC
2016 By Kai Carpenter, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Sequoia National Park teaches its visitors a bit of wisdom: that this world is big and man is small, and that we
should all be more concerned with protecting it. When people walk among the trunks of trees
thousands of years old, such an experience inspires nostalgia and awe. Anderson Design Group’s own
Kai Carpenter brought that feeling to life in this early-20th century oil painting of a visitor to the park
who sits in calm contemplation on the trunk of a massive Sequoia tree. Order this design as a custom,
framed vintage travel poster, or save on wall space with a set of notecards or postcards. We created our
national parks poster series to honor the wonders of our great nation.
