Shenandoah National Park: Barred Owl-KC
2017 By Kai Carpenter, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Shenandoah National Park offers a beautiful escape from urban life, a long, narrow expanse of
protected land just 75 miles from Washington D.C. The park is known for its peaceful quiet, its rolling
hills and wooded glens, its waterfalls and deep valleys. Some visitors meander along the Skyline
Drive, others hike in quiet reflection through the forest terrain. The park is also home to plenty of
wildlife like the Barred owl pictured here. Anderson Design Group and Kai Carpenter created this original oil painting
to capture the warm, sunset colors of Shenandoah, the mists, cloud pink skies, and the awakening night
hunters. Order this illustration as a keepsake from a trip to the park, or buy it as a gift for a family
member or loved one. And to learn more about the park, visit the Shenandoah National Park
Trust.
Our gorgeous art canvases are made-to-order on high-fidelity printers and stretched onto wood frames with hanging brackets installed. Each work of art features an original illustration by the talented, award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group.
