About the Art
Sherlock Holmes is a fictional detective created by British author Arthur Conan Doyle. Referring to himself as a “consulting detective" in the stories, Holmes is known for his proficiency with observation, deduction, forensic science and logical reasoning that borders on the fantastic, which he employs when investigating cases for a wide variety of clients, including Scotland Yard. Anderson Design Group was proud to collaborate with master pastel artist Arden von Haeger on this piece. Arden's classic hand-rendered illustration style conveys grandeur, romance, and nuance. His inventive use of color and his unique Art Deco styling deliver a delightful new take on classic novels. While our Travel Poster Art commemorates special destinations, our Literary Classics Art celebrates our favorite imaginary journeys. This classic design and original illustration, fashioned after vintage poster art, is available as a canvas, a framed art piece, puzzle, poster, print, metal sign, or even as a postcard or set of notecards.
Our gorgeous art prints are made-to-order on high-fidelity 9-color presses. Printed on gallery-grade archival paper, each work of art is hand-trimmed, rolled, and shipped in a protective tube.
