South Africa: Cape Town
2012 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Did you know that a breed of penguin lives on the beaches of Cape Town, South Africa? Or that Cape
Town is known for having some of the best surfing in the world? Or that the world’s first successful
heart transplant was performed in Cape Town? This coastal city is a must-see for any visitor to the
African continent. To celebrate the one and only “Mother City,” our award winning artists at Anderson
Design Group hand-drew, lettered, and painted a vintage travel poster of Cape Town penguins
scurrying along a sun-soaked beach. A great gift to the African traveler in your life or a perfect
conversation piece for your own home, this vintage travel poster is available as an art print, framed
postcard, metal sign, or as a canvas banner.
