South Africa: Johannesburg
2012 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Nicknamed “JoBurg,” Johannesburg is the largest city in the nation of South Africa. Johannesburg is
home to the largest hospital in the world, making the city a medical center for the entire southern
region of the African continent. Johannesburg is also famous for being the home of the largest man-
made forest in the world. Over 10 million trees have been planted in and around Johannesburg!
Impressed by the efforts of this city to advance both its health and its environmental ethic, Anderson
Design Group crafted a vintage travel poster of the city skyline, a retro rendition in early-1900s travel
art styles of this beautiful city at sunset. This classic artwork is available as an art print, canvas banner,
framed print, or metal sign.
