About the Art
The Statue of Liberty National Monument is comprised of Liberty Island and Ellis Island in the states of New Jersey and New York. A gift of friendship from the people of France to the United States "The Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World" is recognized as a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. It was dedicated by President Grover Cleveland on October 28, 1886. Designated as a National Monument in 1924, employees of the National Park Service have been caring for the Statue of Liberty since 1933. Anderson Design Group poster artists have hand-rendered this original illustration in the fashion of vintage travel poster art from the 20th Century. This retro design is available as a poster, print, canvas, mini canvas, metal sign, notecard, or postcard.
Our gorgeous art canvases are made-to-order on high-fidelity printers and stretched onto wood frames with hanging brackets installed. Each work of art features an original illustration by the talented, award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group.
