The Gambia is known for its diverse ecosystems that converge around the central Gambia River. Abundant wildlife can be found in the country’s Kiang West National Park and Bao Bolong Wetland Reserve. These regions include monkeys, leopards, hippos, hyenas, and rare birds.
The capital of Gambia, Banjul, and the nearby city of Serrekunda offer access to beautiful beaches.
