The Tale Of Peter Rabbit: Beatrix Potter
2023 By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
An iconic children’s story that goes back several generations, the Tale of Peter Rabbit is one of the top best-selling children’s books of all time. Written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter, the book was published in 1902. Many know the story from their childhood, but the book centers on the mischievous Peter Rabbit, whose disobedience leads him to constant trouble. Like many children’s stories of the time, the story combines humor and adventure while also featuring a moral lesson, and the text is accompanied by beautiful watercolors to emphasize the story and its deeper meaning. To celebrate the story of the 20th century’s most-licensed and reproduced character, the artists of Anderson Design Group rendered this original illustration and vintage poster art of the book cover, making it available as a poster, print, notecard, postcard, canvas, or metal sign.
