Tulsa, OK: Deco Skyline
2014 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Tulsa is the second largest city in Oklahoma, a sweeping metropolis that rests on the Arkansas River.
Tulsa had its beginnings in the late-1800s when the railroad came through. Almost overnight the city
boomed as a major cattle-shipping point. Then, in the early-1900s, oil was discovered in Tulsa and an
oil rush kicked off. Today, the city has moved into other ventures in addition to oil production,
including business, technology, communications, and health. In this vintage travel poster art, Anderson
Design Group handcrafted an art deco travel poster of the city skyline, a retro-looking poster of the
city’s well-known skyscrapers. Now you can show your love for vintage artwork and for Tulsa all at
once. Order this classic poster as an art print, canvas, metal sign, or as a set of notecards or postcards.
