Ventura is known for its steep foothills and rocky, Pacific cliffs, inlets, and bays. The city overlooks
Channel Islands National Park, as well as a few, beautiful beaches. Given the rocky and cliff-like nature
of most of the coastline, this region is known for its absolutely fantastic surf conditions. Anderson
