Washington, DC: Jefferson Memorial In Bloom (Mod Design)
2024 By Annie E. Cauffman, Joel Anderson
About the Art
The artists at Anderson Design Group love celebrating ALL of the many vintage art styles of the 20th century, including mod art! And to bring a little mod art into our American travel art, Anderson Design Group collaborated with mod artist and digital painter Annie E. Cauffman. Annie's bold sense of style and her vintage mid-century mod rendering techniques add a classic jet-age whimsey to ADG’s popular American Travel poster art series. Reminiscent of the iconic TWA posters and travel illustrations of the mid-20th Century, this retro design celebrates the vivid colors of spring in the DC area. The cherry trees which line the Tidal Basin in West Potomac Park were a gift from the mayor of Tokyo in 1912. Tended to and cared for to this day, these cherry trees always amaze visitors when they blossom into full color in the late spring. You can order this retro-styled artwork as a framed print, poster print, canvas, mini-canvas, metal sign, or as a set of notecards or postcards.
