Washington, DC: State Pride

It’s not a U.S. state, but it’s the center of leadership in this great nation, so Washington D.C. deserves its own poster in Anderson Design Group’s American State Pride Collection. The seat of government for the country and a center of all things American (including culture and history), D.C. is an important region in the U.S. that everyone should visit at some point. Neither a state nor a city, this federal district was where the U.S. Constitution was established, and it is a popular destination home to many museums, galleries, monuments, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Seeking to celebrate the city in vintage poster art and retro design, Anderson Design Group poster artists hand-rendered an original illustration of the district, a rendition that depicts the nation’s Capital building. Depicted in vintage travel art and American history art, the nation's Capital is the most iconic symbol of this great country. The five-floor structure is the home of the U.S. Congress, the legislative branch of the United States Government.
