Weir Farm National Historical Park, CT

Weir Farm is the only NPS site dedicated to American painting. Considered the father of American Impressionism, J. Alden Weir’s landscapes, portraits, and still lifes, along with his leadership within the art community, all played a pivotal role in the nation’s shift toward Impressionism in the 1890s. The 60-acre park preserves the aspects of the home that Weir used to say made it the “Great Good Place,” including beautiful rolling hills, fields, old stone walls, and historic buildings. Available as a poster, framed print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, or canvas, this original national park art would look great on any wall.
