Zion National Park: Angels Landing
2016 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Offering one of the most thrilling views in the United States, Angels Landing is a 1,488 foot rock
formation in Zion National Park. The massive structure is located at the head of Zion Canyon. The
Landing is reached by an exciting 2.5 mile hike. Once at the summit, hikers often rest for a good
while, not only to recharge their batteries, but to enjoy what some say is the best viewing point in the
park. Anderson Design Group took inspiration in that view, being ourselves avid “view hunters.” This
illustration is styled after the WPA-commissioned artwork of the 1910s-1930s, the same time period
when this park was first designated. Order this vintage travel art as a gift or as a wall decoration for
your own home. To learn more about the park, visit the Zion National Park Forever
Project.
Enjoy our art outdoors by ordering your favorite designs on metal signs. Our all-weather, rust-resistant signs are ideal for any porch, barn, fence, warehouse, garage, or bar. Featuring gorgeous color printing, they offer a more casual look than canvases or framed prints.
