Zion National Park: Kolob Arch
2013 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Earning its place of legacy as the second longest arch in the world, Kolob Arch is also one of the
largest arches on record for sheer size alone. The Kolob Arch trail offers several places from which to
view the mighty sandstone formation. Anderson Design Group illustrated the arch in a perfect
depiction: sunset, a time when the last rays of light shine through the arch, streaking angled
sunbeams onto the rock and trees below. It is a unique beauty, one which you can be reminded of every
day with a wall adornment of this illustration. Or if you have a friend who loves our national parks and
their amazing sunsets, send them this national parks vintage travel art as a gift! To learn more about
the arch and the park’s many highlights, check out the Zion National Park Forever
Project.
