Courage. Hope. Strength. Pride. Generosity. Those were the watchwords in 2010 when Nashville was hit with a flood the likes of which this city had never seen. It started with record-breaking rainfall. It ended with several fatalities, 11,000 properties damaged or destroyed, and about 10,000 people displaced from their homes. The volunteer effort to help local Nashville residents and business owners recover from the flood was huge. To recognize that effort, how the city came together as a unified family defiant in the face of Nashville’s worst natural disaster, Anderson Design Group handcrafted vintage poster art of the flood. You can order this Nashville poster as a reminder of one of our city’s greatest challenges, and as a reminder of how we all came together to see it through. This artwork is available as a print, banner, canvas, notecard, postcard, metal sign, or as a framed postcard. And to learn more about the flood, check out this article in the Tennessean.
