Hot Air Affair By Kristi Carter Smith, Joel Anderson, 2004
- Hot Air Affair
“Hot Air Affair” is a national hot air balloon festival held in different places all over the country. The festival is held as a benefit for a variety of noble causes, including breast cancer research, other oncology related issues, child illnesses, etc. Years ago, Nashville hosted its own Hot Air Affair to benefit the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center, a medical center specializing in ear, nose, and throat diseases as well as communication disorders. To commemorate the event, Anderson Design Group handcrafted vintage poster art of the event, eternalizing in retro artwork the importance and value of community events like these.
