Metro Parks: Fort Negley By Andy Gregg, Joel Anderson, 2012
- Metro Parks: Fort Negley
Nashville has done a fantastic job of preserving its Civil War heritage, and Fort Negley park is just one example of that commitment. Fort Negley is a historical education center and an outdoor recreation area all in one. The park has its own visitors center where park-goers can learn about Nashville’s Civil War history. Not far from downtown, the park also offers some fantastic views of Nashville. Inspired by a metro park that is dedicated to preserving Nashville’s history, Anderson Design Group rendered vintage poster art of the park. This retro art print is a part of the Spirit of Nashville Collection, preserving and eternalizing in its own way the old foundations and walls of Fort Negley itself. Available as a print, banner, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or framed postcard, this artwork is an excellent souvenir and token of a trip to Nashville. It could also serve as a great gift for the Civil War history buff in your family! To learn more about the park and other metro parks, visit Nashville Parks and Recreation.
