Kane County, Utah: Kanab at Christmas
2020 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Kanab, Utah is a small town with a big reputation. The city of just 4,687 people is centrally
located in southern Utah, just a short drive from the north rim of the Grand Canyon, and from
other attractions like Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Lake Powell. The
city is also near famous points of interest like Monument Valley, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State
Park, “The Wave” rock formation, and Vermillion Cliffs National Monument. Seeking to
recreate and preserve the art styles of turn-of-the-century poster art, Anderson Design Group
handcrafted vintage travel poster art of Kanab, a realistic rendition of what the town would
have looked like in the mid-1900s. Available as a print, banner, notecard, postcard, metal
sign, framed poster, or canvas, this artwork is an excellent souvenir and keepsake from a trip
to a town tucked between some of the greatest natural wonders of the world.
