7 Wonders of the Ancient World: The Temple of Artemis
2025 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Built in 550 BC and sadly destroyed by fire in 356 BC, this temple was made of marble and glittered with gold, all to celebrate the deity Artemis. The foundation of the temple measured 180 feet by 350 feet, and many steps led to a platform that held more than one-hundred columns that in turn supported the structure’s roof. It was twice the size of the Parthenon! Vintage poster art and retro-styled travel art provides the perfect style for depicting world travel destinations, especially the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. This original travel poster and hand-rendered art design will look great on any wall as an unframed print, framed illustration or poster, as a metal sign, canvas, mini canvas, or as a set of note cards or postcards. Available in multiple size options, this whimsical travel art was fashioned in the style of 20th-century vintage art.
