American College Towns: Lexington, KY

As Lexington, Kentucky is home to Transylvania University, the University of Kentucky, and Bluegrass Community and Technical College, it is no surprise that this city ranks tenth in the entire nation for educational attainment. No less than 39 percent of the city’s residents have at least a bachelor degree. Lexington is also the horse capital of the world and the hub of the state’s Bluegrass region.
