Area 51
2026 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Our customers know we love to create original travel art inspired by our adventures. ADG founder Joel Anderson and his talented team of illustrators began researching ancient wonders, legendary landmarks, lost cities, and mythological marvels—places that would be on any adventure lover’s list—if only they could be reached! Area 51 technically does exist, though it is shrouded in mystery, as it is a highly classified U.S. Air Force facility located in the Nevada desert. For years, there was speculation about the installation, especially amid growing reports of UFO sightings in the vicinity. Conspiracy theories gained support in the late 1980s, when a man claiming to have worked at the installation also claimed that the government was examining recovered alien spacecraft! Vintage poster art provides the perfect style for depicting fantasy (and sometimes real but still mysterious) world travel destinations like Area 51, and this original travel poster and hand-rendered art design will look great as an unframed print, framed illustration, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas. Available in multiple size options, this whimsical travel art and world destination art was fashioned in the style of 20th-century vintage art and the iconic travel art and retro art that first promoted international travel and adventure.
