Asheville, NC: Biltmore Estate
2020 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Asheville is home to many fantastic landmarks, but few are as incredible as Biltmore Estate, a
mesmerizing museum, house, and historic site all combined into one jaw-dropping landmark. The
estate features the elegant Châteauesque-style Biltmore House, a mansion built for George Washington
Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895. The mansion holds the record for being the largest privately
owned house in the United States, at over 178,926 square feet in size! The estate is still owned by the
Vanderbilts and is valued at approximately $157 million. Inspired by the history, the luxury of the
estate, and the vintage, refined nature of the Biltmore House, Anderson Design Group rendered an art
poster of the house, a vintage-styled design inspired by the Golden Age of Illustration. Available as a
poster, print, banner, hand-stretched canvas, postcard, notecard, or metal sign, this artwork looks
fantastic on any wall. To learn more about Biltmore Estate, be sure to visit the website Biltmore.
