Boston: Anderson Memorial Bridge
2024 By Nguyen Tran, Joel Anderson
About the Art
What better way to commemorate and celebrate historic Boston than to depict the Anderson Memorial Bridge? ADG’s collaborating artist Nguyen Tran captured the essence of Boston in this beautiful illustration. Nguyen's Art Deco color palettes and emotive style offer a classic perspective on American travel scenes, providing a sense of nostalgia. The Anderson Memorial Bridge stands on the site of the Great Bridge built in 1662, the first structure to ever span the Charles River. The bridge brings Boston traffic into Harvard Square and was finished in 1915. Each year, the river draws top-line rowers from around numerous countries along with local hopefuls to compete in one of the largest regattas in the world. You can order this retro-styled artwork and vintage travel art as a framed print, poster, canvas, mini-canvas, metal sign, or as a set of notecards or postcards.
