Canada: Lake Minnewanka, Banff
2019 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Visitors to Banff National Park often enjoy a boat ride on Lake Minnewanka, a deep lake that runs
through the Banff Canadian Rockies. And for those who don’t mind a little cold water, scuba diving is
even an option. And thousands of people do take that option every summer too, as there is an ancient
town submerged beneath the depths of the lake! Seeking to model an art piece after the mid-20th
century artwork of the Golden Age of Illustration, Anderson Design Group crafted a vintage travel
poster of the lake, a classic depiction of the mountainous peaks nearby and one of the tour boats that
ferries visitors across the bright blue lake. A perfect gift or home decor piece, this retro artwork can be
customized as an art print, canvas banner, framed print, framed postcard, or metal sign. To learn more
about the lake and other nearby attractions, check out the Canada
Guide.
