Canada: Prince Edward Island
2017 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
An island, a province, and an important part of Canada’s history and culture, Prince Edward Island
definitely has a story to tell. This island is actually a series of islands, not far off the coast of Nova
Scotia. The island is home to about 146,000 people, most of whom live on the island year-round.
Encouraged and inspired by the many lighthouses that guide the frequent boat traffic to and from this
island, Anderson Design Group created a vintage travel poster of the island, a fitting illustration of one
such lighthouse and another island of the Prince Edward archipelago in the distance. This handcrafted
rendition is available as a framed print, canvas banner, metal sign, or as a framed postcard. And to learn
more about the island and the other Canadian provinces, check out the Canada
Guide.
