Canada: Quebec's Perce Gaspe Peninsula
2017 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
The wild north, the second largest country in the world, and a nation with more freshwater lakes than
any country in the world, Canada offers much to prospective visitors. One such attraction is Quebec’s
Perce Gaspe Peninsula. This peninsula is the home of a small village and the Perce Rock, a huge,
arched rock formation that rises out of the sea not far off the coast. Visitors from near and far come to
this region of Quebec to enjoy the quaint town, the famous rock, and other, local attractions. The region
has become a historically rich, natural icon of Quebec. There is even 1600s-era artwork of the rock
preserved in nearby museums. Now you can own artistic renditions of the rock too, via a unique, hand-
drawn vintage illustration by Anderson Design Group. To learn more about the rock and other
attractions, check out the Canada Guide.
