Canada: Toronto, Casa Loma
2015 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Did you know that Toronto’s Casa Loma is the only true castle in all of North America? Casa Loma
(Spanish for “Hill House”) is a Gothic Revival style “mansion,” built from 1911 to 1914 and designed
as an authentic castle but intended to be a residence. Today, the castle functions as a museum and
landmark. Seeking to bring forth the classic design styles of the mid-1900s, Anderson Design Group
handcrafted vintage travel poster art of Casa Loma, a fitting rendition of the castle in an art style that
was quite prominent around the same time that the castle was being built. Perfect as a home decoration,
keepsake, or gift, this retro artwork is available as a framed print, canvas banner, framed postcard, or as
a set of notecards or postcards.
