Canada: Vancouver Island
2016 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Vancouver Island is famously known as a nature getaway for residents and visitors to Vancouver,
British Columbia. And we can easily see why. Over 12,000 square miles of land and about 2,000 miles
of coastline welcome nature lovers; much of the island being wild, undeveloped, and more or less left
to nature’s devices for decades. The island is temperate, ranging from stoney beaches to lush, pacific
rain forests and tall mountain peaks. Stirred by the wild nature of one of the largest, most preserved
islands in the world, Anderson Design Group handcrafted a vintage travel poster of the island, a fitting
rendition in retro styles of a pair of orcas breaching off the coast of the island. Perfect for home décor,
this artwork inspires nostalgia and good feeing for the beauty of nature. To learn more about the island,
