Canada: Waterton Lakes
2018 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Tucked away in a corner of southwest Alberta you will find Waterton Lakes National Park. This was
Canada’s fourth national park, designated in 1979. The park features truly unique ecosystems,
surprisingly mild winters, and some of the oldest exposed sedimentary rock in the Rocky Mountains.
The park is home to more than half of Alberta’s plant species, as well as 60 species of mammals, 250
species of birds, 24 species of fish, and 10 species of reptiles and amphibians. Anderson Design Group
rendered a fitting depiction of the park, a landscape illustration of the mountains, one of the many
nearby lakes, and a summer lodge atop a knoll. This vintage travel poster is available as a retro art
print, canvas, metal sign, postcard, or notecard. To learn more about the parks and other attractions in
Canada, check out the Canada Guide.
Our gorgeous note cards are made-to-order on high-fidelity printing presses, using sturdy, gallery-grade card stock. Each card is folded, and paired with an envelope. All of our cards feature an original illustration by the talented, award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group.
