Chaco Culture National Historical Park: Daytime
2025 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
To visit Chaco Culture National Historical Park is to step into one of North America’s oldest and most prosperous Indigenous cities that existed long before Europeans settled on the Atlantic coast. Populated between AD 850 and AD 1250, the site is home to 15 major complexes made from sandstone blocks and timber, the largest buildings ever built in North America until the 19th century. The Historical Park that preserves the site offers an experience like no other, a first-hand walk through time to the most developed, most advanced Indigenous settlement of the pre-Columbian period. A perfect gift for a history buff or park lover, this artwork is available as an art print, canvas, framed print, metal sign, note card, or postcard.
