Channel Islands National Park: Anacapa Lighthouse
2020 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Calling all lighthouse enthusiasts! Built in 1912, Anacapa Lighthouse was the last major lighthouse to be constructed on the West Coast. The lighthouse is located at the entrance to the Santa Barbara Channel, in Channel Islands National Park, in the U.S. state of California. Though the lighthouse is now fully automated, the National Park Service and Coast Guard still maintain the house and inspect it regularly for function and efficiency.
Inspired by the history of U.S. lighthouses, the creative minds at Anderson Design Group got together and hand-rendered this vintage travel poster and National Park art, a timeless take on American lighthouses and their history and significance. An excellent keepsake from a trip to the park, or a wonderful gift for the lighthouse enthusiast in your life, this artwork looks great as a poster, print, canvas, banner, notecard, postcard, metal sign, or framed postcard.
