Chile: Torres del Paine National Park (Patagonia)
2005 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
While land protection has been a core part of human societies for thousands of years, the U.S. piloted the notion of national parks in the 1800s. The idea caught on fast, and it was soon being replicated in other countries. Case in point, the South American nation of Chile has created several national parks of its own, the most famous of which may be Torres del Paine National Park, in the nation's Patagonia region. To celebrate the park, Anderson Design Group poster artists hand-rendered this original illustration in the fashion of vintage poster art and Golden Age of Illustration travel art. This original international national park design is available as a poster, print, metal sign, notecard, or postcard.
