Detroit: Print Shop
2010 By Andy Gregg, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Detroit, Michigan is most easily recognized for being the center of the automobile industry. General
Motors, Ford, and Chrysler all have their headquarters in the city. It all started when Henry Ford built
his first automobile on Mack Avenue back in 1896. Since then, automobiles have been the backbone of
Detroit. Our ADG American Travel poster series is meant to capture the history and romantic nostalgia
of our country’s greatest cities and landmarks, so an early-1900s travel poster for Detroit had to include
a vintage, 1930s automobile! Hang this early-20th century illustration from you garage or shop wall, or
make it the centerpiece in your Man Cave. Our vintage travel poster art makes great gifts too!
Our gorgeous art prints are made-to-order on high-fidelity 9-color presses. Printed on gallery-grade archival paper, each work of art is hand-trimmed, rolled, and shipped in a protective tube.
