About the Art

Detroit, Michigan is most easily recognized for being the center of the automobile industry. General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler all have their headquarters in the city. It all started when Henry Ford built his first automobile on Mack Avenue back in 1896. Since then, automobiles have been the backbone of Detroit. Our ADG American Travel poster series is meant to capture the history and romantic nostalgia of our country’s greatest cities and landmarks, so an early-1900s travel poster for Detroit had to include a vintage, 1930s automobile! Hang this early-20th century illustration from you garage or shop wall, or make it the centerpiece in your Man Cave. Our vintage travel poster art makes great gifts too! To learn more about Detroit and its rich history in the automobile industry, visit the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Our gorgeous note cards are made-to-order on high-fidelity printing presses, using sturdy, gallery-grade card stock. Each card is folded, and paired with an envelope. All of our cards feature an original illustration by the talented, award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group.
