Devils Tower, WY: Alien Visitation
2022 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Towering 1,267 feet above the plains of northeastern Wyoming is Devils Tower National Monument.
This monolithic rock formation was featured in Steven Spielberg’s 1977 film, “Close Encounters of a
Third Kind.” The butte is also sacred to several Native American tribes, and the huge structure was the
first U.S. National Monument ever designated. To celebrate
the other-worldly appeal of Devils Tower, Anderson Design Group crafted a classic B-movie-like poster. Available as an art print, canvas, metal sign, or postcard, this retro artwork would look great on any wall. To learn more
about the butte, check out the National Parks Service.
