About the Art

This park is unique in that it is comprised of multiple sites, all centered around Delaware’s important contributions to the nation’s founding. Russ Smith, the park’s first superintendent, described the park as a reminder that, from the very earliest of days, America has been a place that embodies different traditions, religions, and cultures. “It’s the recognition that it’s not all about Jamestown and Plymouth Rock,” Smith said. “There were 13 different traditions established in the 1600s that came together in 1776. The [park] designation helps shine a light on that story.” Available as a poster, framed print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, or canvas, this original national park art would look great on any wall. For a full list of national park sites in all 50 states, check out the official website for the National Park Service.
