Gateway Arch National Park
2018 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
In the heart of St. Louis, Missouri, Gateway Arch National Park stands as a testament to big history.
The arch is a memorial to St. Louis’s role in the expansion of the United States westward, to Thomas
Jefferson for pioneering those efforts, and to Dred Scott who sued for his freedom in the old courthouse
nearby. The park offers five miles of walking paths, free events for all ages, and a free world-class
museum to teach visitors about the history of the park and what it represents. Being ourselves lovers of
the history and nostalgia which surround our nation’s parks, our team at Anderson Design Group was
inspired to hand-craft this vintage, early-1900s National Parks poster in an autumn color scheme. To
learn more about the park, visit the Gateway Arch Park Foundation.
