We have a special place in our heart for Gatlinburg, a mountain town in eastern Tennessee known as the gateway to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Given its location, many areas within or near the city offer sweeping views of the park, including at the signpost depicted here, a signpost that many who visit the city inevitably end up hiking to.
