Great Smoky Mountain Railroad: Steam Engine
2018 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is a private railroad track owned by a company of the same
name. The track spans 53 miles, servicing towns like Bryson City, Dillsboro, Whittier, and Fontana
Lake. The railroad is mostly used for tourism, but it has been used to haul freight in the off season.
The GSMR is easily one of the best and most comfortable ways to enjoy the beauty and majesty of the
Great Smoky Mountains, and to do so in style! Anderson Design Group hand-illustrated this vintage
travel poster art so that visitors to the railway would have a token, a keepsake from their adventure
along the rail. To learn more about the railroad and the many attractions along its course, visit the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad.
Enjoy our art outdoors by ordering your favorite designs on metal signs. Our all-weather, rust-resistant signs are ideal for any porch, barn, fence, warehouse, garage, or bar. Featuring gorgeous color printing, they offer a more casual look than canvases or framed prints.
