I Love Cicadas

Cicadas are thought to be one of the most controversial bugs to walk, fly, sing, and then die on the face of the Earth. Some people love cicadas because they are harmless and they just want to have a little fun after spending over a decade underground (they live underground for YEARS before coming above ground for just two weeks to mate, fly, sing, and die). On the other hand, some people hate cicadas because they make a lot of noise and they clumsily throw themselves into swimming pools, windshields, and ice cream sundaes. Cicadas hold the record for being the loudest bug in the world, and they won’t stop talking about it!
