Italy: The Amalfi Coast
2020 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Ah, the Amalfi Coast. Internationally famous for its appearance in Hollywood films, the Amalfi
Coast is a 50 kilometer stretch of ruggedly beautiful coastline along the southern edge of the
Sorrentine Peninsula in Italy. A popular tourist destination, visitors to the coast travel from far and
wide to experience the quaint cafes, shopping bazars, boutiques, tiny beaches, local fishing
opportunities, scenic drives, terraced vineyards, fruit orchards, and pastel-colored villages.
Speaking of the villages, there are 13 villages that span along the Amalfi Coast, with the entire
region earning further renown thanks to its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Inspired
by the beauty and wonder of this Italian dream, Anderson Design Group hand-rendered vintage
poster art of the coast, coloring the pastels just as they appear in the actual towns. Available as a
print, banner, canvas, metal sign, notecard, or postcard, this vintage poster art makes for the perfect
souvenir of a trip to the region, or a great reminder of an adventure yet to come! And to learn more
