Jacob Hamblin Arch, Utah
2025 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
An iconic 150-foot-tall arch awaits in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument: the Jacob Hamblin Arch. The stunning and absolutely massive natural formation is very remote, as the picturesque arch is located within Coyote Gulch, a narrow, winding canyon that leads to the Escalante River. Seeing the arch in person is absolutely worth it, and its remote location means you might not have to wade through crowds to get a selfie, since it doesn't attract as many visitors as other arches. To see the arch, we recommend starting at Hurricane Wash Trailhead for a 14-mile round-trip out-and-back hike. Bring lots of water and sun protection! Available as a poster, framed print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, or canvas, this original national park art would look great on any wall. For a full list of national park sites in all 50 states, check out the official website for the National Park Service.
