2018 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
John Day Fossil Beds National Monument in Oregon is known for its colorful rock formations, rocks
that preserve incredible plant and animal fossils. The rock beds are chockfull of fossilized information
from multiple epochs, giving us data about plant and animal evolution, climate change, past
ecosystems, major planetary change, etc. A real treasure and a park that is worthy of our protection,
John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is not only beautiful, but these lands are quite educational
too. Anderson Design Group handcrafted vintage travel poster art of the Monument, capturing in retro
design the colorful stones and several antelope nearby. To learn more about the Monument or to make
travel plans there, be sure to visit the website for the National
Parks Service.
Our gorgeous art canvases are made-to-order on high-fidelity printers and stretched onto wood frames with hanging brackets installed. Each work of art features an original illustration by the talented, award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group.
