Kanab, Utah: Balloons And Tunes Roundup
2022 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Every February ballooning enthusiasts flock to southern Utah, where the historical city of Kanab holds its annual Balloons & Tunes Roundup. Spectators are delighted to see more than 40 hot air balloons rising over quintessential southwestern scenery. The festival is usually held during the Presidents' Day Weekend, and the schedule features balloon launches for three days. The lift-off usually takes place at the former Coral Cliffs Golf Course in Kanab at 7:30 am. In the afternoons, visitors can join the fun on Main Street with a vendors fair, live music, and lots of food that will keep everyone busy until late at night. The Balloon Glow usually happens in the evening followed by a Lantern Festival.
Inspired by the beauty and wonder of one of America’s most iconic travel destinations, Anderson Design Group poster artists hand-rendered this vintage-styled art and travel poster. This serene design and original illustration is available as a canvas, a framed art print, a metal sign, as a postcard, or as a set of notecards.
