Kentucky State Pride
2019 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Famous for its beautiful countryside, its incredible horse races, and for the largest fireworks displays in
the world, Kentucky is a state worth visiting. Kentucky is also known for its fried chicken, its
traditional bluegrass music, and its college basketball. The Kentucky Derby, arguably the state’s most
famous attraction, began in 1875 and has been a constant icon since then. Every year, people travel
from all over the world to watch the races, to make bets on their favorite horses, and to enjoy the
entertainment that precedes and follows the races. Seeking to capture the excitement of Kentucky’s
most popular event, Anderson Design Group handcrafted vintage travel poster art of one such race. A
fitting home decor piece or gift, this artwork is available as a print, banner, sign, notecard, or postcard.
