About the Art
Every year, hundreds of thousands of caribou migrate through Kobuk Valley National Park, moving between their calving and summering grounds on the tundra near the Arctic Ocean to their wintering grounds in the verdant boreal forests to the south. This mass migration is truly a sight to see, powerful imagery that Kenneth Crane captured in this vintage-styled poster.
Always with his eye out for talented, up-and-coming poster artists, Anderson Design Group Founder and Artistic Director Joel Anderson decided to launch a collaborative effort with artist and designer Kenneth Crane, a Colorado-based poster artist and avid National Park adventurer. Their mission? To create vintage works and poster designs for all 63 American National Parks.
This original illustration inspires mystery and nostalgia for the National Parks, all while depicting one of the most unique land mammal migratory patterns in any National Park. A perfect decor addition for your home or office or an excellent gift, you can order this vintage design as an art print, canvas, banner, notecard, postcard, or metal sign.
