Lake Mead: Nevada, Arizona
2020 By Derek Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
A man-made lake, Lake Mead is a popular recreation center on the Colorado River. The lake shares
a border with both Nevada and Arizona, giving each state partial ownership of the lake. The lake is
the largest man-made reservoir in the United States in terms of water capacity. Visitors to the
recreation area enjoy swimming, hiking, boating, cycling, camping, fishing, etc. Inspired by
America’s First Recreation Area, Anderson Design Group rendered vintage poster art of the lake, a
timeless design styled after the travel art of the mid-20th century. Available as a poster, print,
canvas banner, notecard, postcard, hand-stretched canvas, or metal sign, this artwork would make
for a classic home decor item or office decoration. And to learn more about Lake Mead or to make
